Thyroid - lumpy???

I just had blood work done for Thyroid testing, because my doctor said that my Thyroid was "lumpy". I had already had a thyroid screening and that came back negative (my GYN did that one). Just wondering if anyone has had their doctor tell them something similar.

Re: Thyroid - lumpy???

That was not my experience, but I was told I had a goiter for years, and that my tests were normal.
Now I know that the tests do not tell what blood thyroid level is normal for any specific individual.

What is the TSH? You need copies of the lab results, and to list your symptoms.
There are both hypo and hyper symptoms listed in the topic called Information Archive, below.
Let us know what you find out. TF
