Is it normal to feel so crappy even after having started Synthroid?

I started with Synthroid 2 weeks ago (hypo) and today I feel so cold and tired and I can't seem to stop crying. If Synthroid is supposedly giving me something I lack of, how come my symptoms are worsening? At worst they should be staying the same, no?

Hi Berri
Any hormone change affects symptoms.
It usually takes six weeks to get the med asorbed at the cell level, and then you may still need a dose raise, depending on symptoms.
This is not a quick fix, it takes time.
