How long does it take Levothyroxine to leave your system?

Hi again,
I wrote a previous post about Levothyroxine but I'm not really getting any answers or insight about my questions concerning recently going OFF 50 mcgs of Levothyroxine.

I've been off it for about a week. I'm just wondering, on average, how long it takes for the hyperthyroid symptoms to completely go away after going off the medication??

It may take just a few days maybe up to a couple of weeks for the symptoms to go away.

The half life of T4 is 7 days. That is... Half the circulating amount will be gone in 7 days. Half of that will be gone in another 7 days, and so on.

T4 won't be totally gone after two weeks but your symptoms may be.
