I've was diagnosed with Hashi's 15 years ago and still cannot find a dose that works for me. I've tried Synthroid, Armour, Levoxyl, Levothyroxine, and a combo of Synthroid/Armour.
I'll feel ok for a few weeks after the initial dose increase or decrease, but then I'm back to feeling hypo again.
I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency earlier this year, so I'm being treated with 20mg of hydrocortisone daily, 10mg of DHEA, and I am currently on 112mcg of Levoxyl.
I've always felt like my body just won't properly absorb the thyroid medication, or that is resists it.
Here is a chart of my labs and the medication I was one when some of my thyroid tests were taken: http://addison-s-support.1651760.n2....5161302367-190
Should I request a reverse T3 test, or would I not be a good candidate?
EDIT TO ADD: I have new tests done next month. I may request a small addition of Cytomel to my Levoxyl. Maybe that will help.
