It dumbfounds me how some doctors can be so ignorant - still worshipping the almighty TSH.

It is NOT low TSH that causes HYPERthyroidism, but OVER RANGE FT4 and FT3 levels. Have you had any antibody testing done? There are some Ab's than can falsely lower your TSH. (TRAb, TSI and TBII)

I feel for you seeing 3 doctors already and no results. (Hugs) I didn't find my thyroid savvy doctor until I had been to 4 clueless ones. Hang in there, keep seeking new doctors until you find one that gets it.

Good luck and please keep us updated on how you are doing.

*ETA*. Oops, I see your FT3/FT4 are trending on the high side. I believe you are slightly over medicated. Perhaps 100mcg is too much for you? A slight reduction might bring your levels back within range. Most importantly, how are you feeling now?

Re: Dr says normal but this is NOT normal!

Greetings, I would drink plenty of water which may help fill the cushion disc in between the vertabrae with water and therefore lift the bone off the nerve with potential to provide comfort for the future. It may take a bit of time to rehydrate to this level again. The body must be kept well hydrated. 50 ounces of water should be drunk at least for every 100 pounds of body weight. Peace, sjb

I feel... fine? I don't have any new symptoms, and definitely don't have a high fever (in fact my temp is still a bit lower than normal). I looked up the symptoms of hyperthyroidism and none of them fit.

I actually have a ruptured disc and the contents of the disc are crushing my nerve root... no problems with bones.

Symptoms are severe so I will have to go the surgery route. Once I can stop Lyrica I think my thyroid situation will improve.
