So my thyroid is pretty swollen, but I don't really know how swollen. Does anyone know what is a regular size for a thyroid and what problems can come from a swollen thyroid?
Also, I went to my doctor today and she gave me my results back from my blood test. She told me my blood test were normal (even though my TSH was 4.73) so I talked with her about the differentiating views of normal levels for TSH. So now I'm getting my T4 and T3 tested, and she referred me to an internist who I will see on Wednesday.
I'm super excited to finally be getting somewhere after the near stand still the past 5 years has been. I was just wondering if any of you have found internist any more or less useful than endos, and any advice you may have about how to make sure i get the most I can out of the appointment.
