Synthroid and Cipro Ok together?

Has anyone had experience taking Cipro (generic) and Synthroid (name) together? I started the cipro last night and took another dose a little while ago, about 45 minutes after taking my Synthroid, all on an empty stomach. The Cipro was also recommended on an empty stomach. Found some stuff online that there is evidence of Cipro causing a person taking both to go more hypothyroid until they get off it. Thanks.

Re: Synthroid and Cipro Ok together?

There's nothing in Synthroid's full prescribing information that mentions any antibiotic being incompatible with their product.
The drug interaction checker I use doesn't mention a problem, either.
