I am new here ..and would like to seek wisdom and suggestions on this condition of myself in the Ultra sound scan report [sonogram report ] - :
mild thyromegaly ,other organs r normal.
it further says both lobes of thyroid r mildly enlarged , echotexture is homogeneous,no nodule n cyst , trachea i in de midline , cartoid vessels r normail.
right lobe of thyroid measures 1.4x1.7x3.8cms
left lobe measures 1.7x1.9x4.1cms
I think that would be an enlarge thyroid---but to be honest, if your thyroid lobes are those measurements, 3-4 cm, it doesn't seem so enlarged---people here with "goiters"--enlarged thyroid lobes, seem to have much larger ones.
