I found this place, but they don't have TSI listed. My doc (who is not an endo) has told me to stop all Tapazole bc I am in remission, but she doesn't seem to know what TSI is...b/c she didn't order the test to make that decision. She is only going by low T3, T4 and elevated TSH to base her decision. I was on 7.5 daily Tap and my T3 and T4 are just over the normal range while she said my TSH was pretty elevated. I need to stop by the doc's office and pick up the results, so I am not sure what they are exactly at this time. She called me to let me know and was in a hurry.

I am sick and tired of asking (already asked her for antibody tests and was turned down) and I don't have too much leverage bc it's a sliding scale clinic - all I have got access to right now. Therefore, I figure I just have to go out and independently get my TSI tested to see if it matches what she said. I have found tons of places that you can pay online for thyroid tests and then go to a random lab for bloodwork...and they send you the results of the tests which can be accessed online. Has anyone done this? Why is TSI not an option in the labs I've found? I'm planning on calling the number and making an inquiry, but thought someone might know of a place in the meantime.
