Why some ok some HypoT ? HyperT ->remission -> some OK some HyperO

I have seen quite a lot ppl saying they all gone HypoT from HyperT after remission via ATDs route treatment (maybe a few months or years).

On the other hand, I have seen also quite a lot ppl say that they are absolutely fine(No HypoT) after remission (even years & yesrs after) via ATDs treatment route.

Why is that?
Is it because ATD dosage has not been adjusted properly during treatment, e.g. Ppl like me being overmedicated have a much bigger chance to go HypoT after remission?
Or . is it because ppl have different antibody ? For me is antibody for GD. some ppl have Hashimoto, some ppl have both.
Or there are some other reasons?

Please help me understand as I am still a newbie to HyperT…
Many Thanks
Russell

This is frequently the case... They have antibodies for both conditions, Graves' and Hashimoto's.
I've even read the opinion of some experts that it's all one disease, with Graves' and Hashi's at the opposite spectrums.

Thanks for your reply MidWest !

Now I understand Graves' and Hashimoto. After I got positive Grave's disease , I can remember my GP was surprised when he tested another antibody and found me negative, I cannot remember what was it, but now it seems it could be Hashimoto since many ppl have both...
