Doctor recommendations
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada? I am sick and tired of being tired. I would like someone that tests more than the TSH and looks at how I feel not at a number on the paper. I take synthroid and it is clearly not working for me. I have very few good days even with medication.

Dr. Samuel Weisz - some report he is opposed to T3 supplementation/dessicated thyroid; others say he is treating them with it.

Dr. Martine Roy, an OB who understands the relationship between thyroid and fertility

Dr. T. Trethart, Nutritional medicine specialist who may prescribe for thyroid

I phoned Dr. Weisz and was really disappointed to be told that he has retired.

In Canada you need a referral for an OB and my issue is no longer with infertility anymore.

I am pleased to say Dr. Trethart will see me on October 4th. I am sooooo happy that there may be someone out there that may be able to help me. Lets hope he can.
