Re: just got results and new to this, help please
I am not the most knowledgeable, but will comment on your free's - they look okay as they are mid range. However, I have read that some people feel better when they are in the upper 2/3 range. Your TSH is a little elevated. Most healthy people have a TSH of around 1. Although many doctors will say it is fine until it is in the 10's ( sad - isn't it). I do not know why the reverse t3 is so high or about the testosterone. I do not recall seeing other comments about testosterone improving on thyroid - but I have MUCH to learn!
You may notice the Natures thyroid creates some improvements slowly- I know I feel much better on thyroid med - and my TSH was similar to yours, but my free's were in the basement.
Some more knowledgeable people may want to know your dose of med. Do go back and have your blood retested in 6 weeks - read and educate and be ready to explain why you are benefiting and why an increase may be in your best interest...as you are usually started on a low does - which does not create much internal change. Focus on your free numbers not the TSH.
It is good that your doctor was willing to try - not a closed door - so I hope he/she continues to help you find health.
