Ninety mgs of Armour is the equivalent of between 111 and 150 mcgs of Synthroid. Egads... Your MD doesn't seem to know what he's doing. It's good that he's open to Armour, but bumping you to that high a dose after keeping you undermedicated on Synthroid is a terrible idea.
It would be much more reasonable to start with 30 mgs of Armour and work up from there. It's too hard on the adrenals to make such a leap in dosage as you were given. I would call the office and get approval to begin with a lower dose, if I were you.
