| Hypothyroid... Anyone swollen above the thyroid?
I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible for the thyroid to swell upwards, so it looks swollen in the adam's apple area or thyroid cartilage area? I found out I am slightly hypo but am not on meds yet. I thought that goiters usually swell to the sides of the neck though?
Also, has anyone had a swollen thyroid that was reduced by taking the hormone?? Hesitant about going on the meds because I don't know if they are worth it. I think the swelling is causing me to feel troubling swallowing.
