| Need advice
Hey guys so i really need advice on medication and lab results. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid and have been on 50mcg synthroid for a week now. because of this condition i have gained 20 lbs and am wondering if anyone has had success losing weight on this drug? I have never had a weight problem before this started and would really like to return to normal. also very cold and sleep a lot.

my labs came back TSH 5.2 (0.38-5.5), FreeT4 17.2 (10.5-20.0) from 9 two months ago, and freeT3 5.5 (3.5-6.5) why are they all on the high end? and do you think this medication will help this problem? if not what will??
