kdr112 Newbie (female) Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Jackson, TN. USA Posts: 5	Hypothyroid and Hypertension Before being diagnosed with hypothyroidism, my B/P was always low normal. I have been diagnosed for the past two years and am on a cytomel only treatment regieme due to synthroid making me itch. My B/P is now 142/70. I know that the systolic is too high. Especially when, last year at this time it was 110. Is anyone else having a problem like this? Last edited by mod85; 01-11-2013 at 12:52 PM.
