Question About Lab Results

I did not know that I should not take my Armour medication before I had the
lab tests done. My T3 and Reverse T3 results were high, and out of range.

Can taking medication so closely to the lab test extremely alter the test results?

Re: Question About Lab Results

It doesn't affect reverse T3, nor TSH, total T3, or total T4. Only the free T3 and free T4 can be significantly affected by taking the Armour within 4-6 hours of the blood draw.
