Hi all,

I am a 26 year old female. I have been suffering a thyroid disease in the past 2 years. I went to an specialist in Singapore to see a doctor. After taking some tests, the doctor said that I have a Follicular Lesion, and he also said:

The thyroid biopsy is suggestive of a follicular lesion. This means that although it is most likely benign, there is a small (10%) chance of indolent follicular thyroid cancer.

Your Vitamin D level is also very low; please increase the D3 intake to two capsules daily. Please continue with Tab Euthyrox 75 mcg daily. I would recommend surgery if there is interval enlargement of the thyroid nodule after 6 months time.

What I would like to know is that,
Does it mean that the thyroid is more likely to heal and shrink after taking the Vitamin D and Euthyrox?

Has anyone been suffering from this disease before? How do you adapt to this situation?

Is there any food I need to avoid or consume more in order to heal the thyroid? Because I would rather NOT to have a surgery. :'(

Is there anything I can do to improve the situation?

Please help!!
