| There is Hope Yet!
Yesterday, I went to see my third doctor in the past month, sixth in the past year.
He was on the fence, and didn't dismiss but also didn't feel comfortable treating me yet. I got the impression that he thought I could use treatment, but because the endo I saw said no, that he couldn't go against her. She had said she would treat if my TSH went above 3.
I also got the impression he knew that eventually I'm going to need treatment. He said he'd wait for my new tests and go from there. And he said even then, he knew an open minded endo (the only endo in all of Kaiser's system that prescribes Armour) that would be able to help.
Well, TSH is 2.98!
Last month:
TSH- 2.03 (0.10 - 5.50 uIU/mL)
FT4- 0.8 (0.8 - 1.7 ng/dL)
This month:
TSH- 2.98 (0.10-5.5 uIU/mL)
FT4- 0.9 (0.8-1.7 ng/dL)
Haven't talked to either of them yet (though I'm hoping I never have to see the other endo again). But, things are looking up in terms of treatment.
Either way, I'm thinking I'll go see the other endo, despite it being a bit of a drive.
