There are people who believe that, at the very least, you should go gluten free. To really go completely gluten free, you'd need to give up all grains (because they all have some different form of gluten). There are also a number of foods that act as gluten in your system, called gluten cross reactive foods.
I've just recently given up sugar and alcohol myself, as I've figured out that it bloats me horrible. I gain weight really easily when I consume it, and lose it much easier when I stop.
