For dry needling the needle is only left in a couple of min. My husband gets acupuncture treatments and those are left in 20 to 30 min.
Sounds like you are maybe getting a combo?
I've had several muscles done and two have cleared up completely. The others are better but have to be redone every couple of weeks.
