Steroid injections

Has anyone had steroid injections and if yes did you find it helpful and what was your experience

I have tmj pain since the last 2 years, but last month the pain was very severe on my joints itself. I tried acupuncture and physio but did not see any difference. I took steroid injections on both joints and the pain on the sides and head just magically disappeared! However my jaw pain is the same, there is no improvement. I would recommend taking the shots if you have pain on your joints.

Hi I have combination of tmj, muscle tooth pain and I grind. I also wear a night guard but not sure how much it is helping me how many injections did you get and was it painful. Where did they inject . Thanks for responding

I took one injection each on both sides and it wasnt painful. The doctor felt the sides of my face and just where I told him it hurt he injected there, it was on the joints he said. I also wear a night guard but that hasnt helped at all.

My dentist injected the steroid injection inside my mouth in the muscle area

Hi I just had one injection done in my muscle area inside my mouth. How long before u noticed the difference. Also where u sore

I had the steroid injection done yesterday in my mouth in tbe muscle area how long did it take for your pain to go away and where u sore for one day. I had only one side done

My injection was from the outside, I wasnt sore at all. I felt pain relief after a week.
