I was having terrible TMJ problems. I went for all kinds of testing---even had my teeth filed down. Finally a neurologist told me to go to a chiropractor. I had 3 adjustments and was feeling like new again. That was 20 years ago. May be this will help you.

I'm glad that worked for you.
I'm especially impressed that your neurologist would recommend a chiropracter! They're at two different ends of the spectrum. I wish all neurologists were that open minded.

We have a Chiro and Neurologist who work together (referring patients back & forth) in my area. Things are starting to change, but I'm afraid very slowly.
It would be so wonderful (for the patients) if all in the different fields of health care would recognize the expertise and possible benefits of all aspects of treatment. I think "we" the patients would fare much better if there was more respect for every specialty "within" the healthcare system. I am afraid that many Medical Professionals will always wear "blinders", in regard to what they consider alternative care.

Maybe a "better day" in health care is in the making,
