Just would like some advice please.

I have been stressed for a good few years now and constantly and I mean constantly clench my teeth, in fact I don't feel right if I'm not clenching. I have a lot of facial, ear, teeth and neck pain. On occasions I have gone slightly deaf in my ears, everything sounds distorted. It is making me really miserable. My jaw clicks all the time, my teeth don't align. Also I have a gland under my jaw that is up and down all the time, could the gland be anything to do with TMJ. I read on an Internet sight that clenching your teeth constantly can make your glands swell up - has anybody heard of this before.

I would be really grateful for a response.

Yes, glands and throat were among my first systems. Your teeth can fell off for years, mine did.

See my other posts, the teeth "pain" is probably referred pain from muscular exhaustion. That is my experience. Perhaps you can find a fascial muscle therapist (myo-fascial therapist). Or at least read about the NTI device (*******.com ?) - my point here is that for some reason, it is all about something that you are doing to yourself.

In my case, ortho had put my teeth upper and lower in the wrong relationship, I had adjusted my lower jaw backwards to make my teeth "work", and so my muscles complained for years - except there was no way to know what was wrong. In your case, it could be just stress, or it could be some dental problem, or maybe it could be a more serious (maybe irreversible) jaw joint problem - but I would hope not.
