Tight Throat Muscles - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

I know we have all discussed the "lump" in the throat feeling, but lately I've had the tight muscle feeling in my throat and neck. I haven't been to PT in about 2 weeks because of my schedule but start again tomorrow. Has anyone else had/have this feeling? Thanks, Jill

Hi Jill:
I've had tight muscles in my throat and neck. The glands that run down each side of my throat are often very hard and feel swollen. I don't know if they are acutally swollen but to me they feel that way. I haven't found anything that relieves the pain. I usually try heat, aspirin and relaxation.

thanks for the reply Tiffany. I wish I could find something to relieve it. But it could be because I haven't seen my chiro or PT in 2 weeks!!!!!! I'll never do that again.......lol

If you find anything that works, please let me know and I'll do the same......Jill
