Thanks for your concern, however the SARS scare has been blown WAY out of proportion. We live about 100 kms from Toronto, and my husband is a firefighter in Toronto. He uses precautions while on the job, but nothing more than he usually would. I personally wash my hands more often.
The SARS cases in Toronto can be traced back to a few people, and if I'm not mistaken, the youngest person to die was 44 years old. And that person was already suffering from other illnesses. At least half of the confirmed cases have recovered so far.
So again, as a Canadian I appreciate your concern, but please take what you hear with a grain of salt. We're not surrounded by the black plague up here.
