thanks for replying. The doctor told me he could give me a prescription and that I could use it every day to numb the pain, like when I get home at the end of the day. I was so excited because it was the first time in a long time that my jaw didn't hurt as much. Now, a few days later, the pain is excruciating again but it helped for a day or two. I'd never heard another doctor mention it. so, you're saying it's not something that is used for treatment? The doctor said they use it in physical therapy.
