I was wondering if anyone knew why sometimes I have more pain on the left side of my face,sometimes more on the right,and sometimes the pain is equal.does anyone else experience this. why does this happen.

Heya geevee624! Yes I too get the pain moving from one side to the other. I've noticed that different things will affect how the other one feels. For instance.. right after I take the nasal stuff my doctor gave me.. then my right side will feel less full, but ache more. After icing, both sides will balloon up a bit. Mine changes constantly throughout the day depending on what I'm doing. I don't know why it does it, but rest assured it is something natural with tmj!

Gee, isn't TMJ just loads of fun? You never know what will hurt the most next...ugh...It gets so tiring.
