Hi all. I finally made my first appointment today and they are gonna be able to get me in Wednesday. Wow that is so great. At first i'm going to go to my regular dentists which he allready has quite a few tmj patients so I think it would be best to start there. My question is what can I expect on the first visit? Thanks in advance. Ya'll have been such a great help.

Hi,

I'm seeing my general dentist for my TMJ pain too. On my first visit, he asked me some questions about my symptoms. He asked me to go through some movements with my jaw and felt some of my facial/head muscles. He made my NTI device that day, explained how it works, and talked about what I should do if I had any problems.
