can having tmj cause you to have a lump sensation in behind your tonsils.....i have e/tube difunction and it feels like my right ear is blocked and when i swollow i feel a pressure like a lump////i also have post nasal polyps and i was wondering if they could swell and add to this problem........thank you

Hi:
Yes TMJ can cause a feeling like there is something in your throat that you can't get rid of. Sometimes it can feel like swollen glands too.

Hi angel.. I'll agree too. All of those symptoms can be from tmjd. Ears can be a big problem for us.. they are for me at least. And I've read on here that many people have had 'lumps' in their throat but not had a cold sort of thing. I dunno what causes it though heh. Sorry I can't be of more help :/
