Question New Jersey docs

I am going to my first dentist, Dr. Schor, who specializes in TMJ (60% of his practice) tomorrow. I live in central New Jersey. This doctor is near me and is a member of the Academy for Cranial/Facial Pain. Anybody have any opinions on NJ specialists?

My Ear Nose Throat doc and my family doc told me to have my teeth looked at, based on lingering dizziness, tooth/gum/throat pain and phantom sinusitits (Catscan was normal) after a bad bout of real sinusitis and labyrinthitis.

My ENT also referred me to a neurologist for possible "atypical facial pain".

Anyway I am pretty nervous about tomorrow. I want this doctor to be good!!! I have been out of work for three months, including the initial infections. I am also seeing a psychiatrist, as I know anxiety has played a role in all this. That's a long story going back many years.

If anyone out there in Jersey can recommend someone, please do so soon!

quinnma - Someone else on these boards is going to a Dr. Schor I believe - that name sounds really familiar. Do a search on this forum for this name - I bet it's the same person.

Hi. I go to Dr. Lanzi. He has offices in Haddonfield and Washington Township (Sewell). He is an oral and maxiofacial surgeon. He does conservative as well as surgical treatment of TMJ Disorder. I have been very happy with my treatment, though mine is not conservative in any way. I have been very happy with Dr. Lanzi and feel he is a highly competent surgeon, but that is only my opnion. I recently had several surgeries including bilateral joint replacements. My history is posted on these boards if you are interested.
