 Neuromuscular dentist vs. tmjd specialist...

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
I would like to ask about the difference between the neuromuscular and tmjd specialist...my current tmjd specialist deals only with tmjd patients (95% tmjd related) and I have been looking at a functional jaw orthodontic dental practice as well. This dental practice has neuromuscular splints, but I don't know how much his practice is tmjd related...how much he treats tmjd. I had asked this question to him, and I am waiting for a reply, hopefully this week. So, my question is.. do most neuromuscular dentist have a high percentage of tmjd patients at their clinic?
I would appreicate any feedback.
