| | MichaelV - cranial osteopath?
I've read some of your posts about cranial osteopaths and am interested in going to see one in the London. I don't know where you are in the UK, or if you could offer a recommendation for this area? I've heard of a Robert Lever - he comes highly recommended, unfortunately his excellent reputation also means a long waiting list and he is quite pricey. I will be seeing a physio as part of my treatment from the Eastman Dental Hospital. I am heartened by the fact that she works mainly, I believe, at the Royal National Ear Nose and Throat Hospital, and the specialist mentioned she would be working on my v. sore neck/back in order to try and help some of my ear problems. Delighted at the idea of someone who is fully aware of the connection and knows what to do about it, but still toy with the idea of visiting a cranial osteopath.
I know from researching dizziness that you suffer from vertigo. Have you found relief from your symptoms with osteopathy? Do you use a splint for clenching. I know from reading your posts you favour focusing on one form of treatment, curious if you are solely using osteopathy or if you have a splint to relieve clenching/grinding. I don't have vertigo but I am dizzy. My otologist does not believe it's an ear problem, although they still haven't run ENG/caloric tests - I may press for these, but with no hearing loss at 7 months in, tight ears, ear pain, tinnitus, and a TMJD diagnosis from the Eastman, (and other tmjd type symptoms) I am leaning heavily towards TMJD as the cause of my dizzies (with the odd panic about atypical menieres.)
Be very grateful for any info,
