This is the machine I posted a little about in the tinnitus subject. I have no idea if it has any help for tinnitus patients but I looked up the company that makes it the other night bec. Jerry Lewis was on Conan Obrien promoting a pain management devise made by the company Meniett and I went to the site to see if they had anything for TMJ - long shot I know but I try everywhere that mentions pain!.............
Ménière's Disease: the Meniett Low-Pressure Pulse Generator. The principle of this method is to restore the balance in the hydrodynamic system of the inner ear by applying low-pressure pulses to the middle ear.
The Meniett device delivers a computer-controlled, complex algorithm of low-pressure pulses that are transmitted to the middle ear, where they act on the round window membrane. It is believed that the energy of the pressure pulses causes a displacement of inner ear fluids, which relieves endolymphatic hydrops and symptoms of Ménière's Disease. In more technical terms, it is thought that the energy of the pressure pulses displaces the perilymphatic fluid, which stimulates the flow of endolymphatic fluid and results in a reduction of endolymphatic fluid.
