Unhappy I have the smallest mouth ever!!!!!!!!!
I am serious if you put my mouth up to someone elses with TMJ mine would be super small. I have absolutely no jaw room for my teeth!! It is like sooo small!! I even laugh {yah, it's that small}!!! DO any of you have this problem and if so how in the world would a splint fit comfortably in there?????

My jaw structure was too small for the number of teeth that I had, and I was SUCCESSFULLY treated with splint therapy. A splint is not "one size fits all" - it's custom made and fitted to YOUR mouth.

Oh okay,
I knew that the splint is made to fit the mouth but I was wondering whether or not they would be comfortable?? I have heard cases where they were and were they weren't. I guess it takes some time getting used to but it will be okay!

Yep..mine is the same way. My dentist told me to tell everyone to never say that I had a "big mouth", cause mine is small too! Thats why I had to have some teeth pulled and then put into braces. I had terrible TMJ prior to that, but after the braces came off 2 and a half years later...I no longer suffer from TMJ and my teeth look better than ever.

So you are one of those people who got braces and never suffered from TMJ again? Wow! Lucky you!! LOL, glad to hear that you never suffer no more!!
