Went to my second consultation today, to see how the PT treatments where improving and to decide the next course of action
She practicly cornered me to talk about myself whilst my gf was having a pano taken (she had a app. 30min after mine)
So the second step in my recovery would be to go see a psychologist...

But the most disturbing thing to me was that I would have to wait 'till almost the end of the year before I will have a splint made
First I have to complete around 20 PT treatments with succes to help my muscles relax
Then I have to complete my set of dentist appointments (I have alot of cavities because of demineralization)
that will probably take another month or 2

And when I have done all that they'll decide to have a splint made or not...

So after my consultation my gf went in and she had teeth impresions made for her splint that will be ready NEXT week!

Now can somebody please tell me, that that would @&#!§ them off aswell?

Hi,

I can understand your frustration. Did your girlfriend have to go through all that you are to get her splint????

No Cheryll she didn't have to go through all that
It was her first consultation, and she had impressions made 5 min after she went in
I'll probably have to wait 'till the beginning of next year

My next app. is in the second week of november

Hi,

Your appt. is the second week of November and your girlfriend will have her splint in a week????????WHY?? I think that I'd have a talk with the dentist if I were you.....asking why the LONG wait for you??

Did your girlfriend have to go to PT and Psych., too? If not, then why only you?
