Newbie....wants to thank everyone! - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

Hi everyone! My name is Kelly and I'm a newbie on this board. Last Friday a Ear,nose, and Throat Dr. diagnosed me with TMJ. When he did, everything made sense!! I have been dizzy since January of this year, and have the chronic fatique. Went to MANY dr's and they kept telling me that there was nothing wrong.
Today is my first Dentist appt. 12 yrs ago I have all my teeth pulled and dentures made. They didn't fit right, so i've never worn them. If someone had told me I could get TMJ...I would have worn them!! Since my Mother In Law found this board last friday I have been glued to it reading EVERYTHING that everyone has posted and I have learned SO much from each of you! I just wanted to thank everyone for all the info and help that you are doing and didn't even know it. Thanks!! And glad to found a wonderful new home!

Hi,
That is great that your Mother-In-Law found this board for you! You will learn alot from this board, I have learned alot! Yeah, I bet you would not have worn dentures if you found out TMJ can be caused by them. I hope you get some answers for any questions you may have and if you have a question...post it!! I am sure someone here will know the answer!
