Greetings.
I have searched everywhere to find out why I have these symptoms.
I think I found a place where I can begin to confront them..

Persons here complain of this brain -fog.
I always reffered to it as a "spaced out" feeling.Cant concentrate,focus, and my balance is off.

To start, I developed chronic sinusitis and sinus polyps due to a bad air environment I worked in.I also was told by my Dr, I may possibly have TMJ(I have yet to see a specialist)
I always associated my brain fog to this sinus trouble I was having..
I had sinus surgery,to repair a deviated septum,remove the polyps, ect.
I started to come out of the fog..it seemed.
I returned to my job after the 2 week heailing time and the symptoms came back..even worse.

I left my job of 13 years,this is how bad it got..I was scared.I am only 34 yrs old and for 2 years I was barely functioning.
I went from 138 lbs. basket ball player on a local legue,weight lifitng ,socially out going..to 116 lbs..no muscle mass,no energy,and more antibiotics and prozac than iI could deal with.(Over 2yrs time I was withering away)

To get to my point..my life has now greatly improved,since leaving the bad air environment I worked in,my sinus troubles are 90% better.

The other day, while at my new job I was chewing gum.Something I had not done since leaving my last job..
Within 4 hours I became very sleepy..unable to focus,-exhausted feeling.
I went home took a hot bath and went to sleep.
The next morning my face was swelled up terribly and the brain fog I had experienced in the past was back,and I spent the day at a social event with friends feeling embarrased that I just sat there trying to focus on the conversations ect..

This brain fog I see mentioned here by others..can we please find out what causes it.
Today It is gone,and I am back to my old self.,
I realize it must be TMJ related,and I will promptly seek help with a specialist, but in the meantime can any one give some insight on what causes brain fog.
It scares me..it makes me feel I have no control..as if I had been drugged with out my knowledge..can any one please enlighten me?
