What type of symptoms are you having? My TMJ doctor wants me to go to another doctor he suggested and have my endocrine system checked. He thinks the burning pain and muscle spasms have something to do with the full hysterectomy I had 18 months ago. I am not taking any hormone replacement because of a family history of a blood disorder and breast problems. I hate going through all the tests, but, I guess I need to be taking something for it. I just don't know about the burning in my joint being hormonal or lactic acid related.

my TMJ pain is about the same every single day, but some days it is much worse than other days. i'm not seeking any treatment right now however, i assume you are?
