| I can't take this anymore!!!!
Hi everyone!
I really need someone to answer this post. I posted earlier with my MRI results.
I don't understand what is going on. I've been in splints for over a year and my MRI says that the joints are normal.....but they are inflamed with fluid. The radiologist says that there is not much fluid in the joints though.
About 3 months ago, I started having burning, stabbing pain in the left tmj joint. I went to a new doctor, and he said it's from the joint and he gave me a prolotherapy injection in the joint....for several weeks now the pain waxes and wains and today it is just awful. I never had this type of pain and I can't believe the joints are normal and I am in worse pain than ever. I have taken glucosamine, Bextra, Flexeril and nothing is helping with the pain. i also have had muscle spasms over the joint throughout the day. I have fluid in both joints, but, only the right side has me in this burning, stabbing, awful pain.
What is going on? The doctor said the joints are decompressed and there is plenty of room ....why am I in pain like this?? I wish i could remove the splint, but, the doctor said that would not be a good idea. Help!!
