Ok, so here's the latest....I went to see my regular physician yesterday and told him what this dentist told me about my 20k in work I need to have done (ex. complete restoration including crowns, etc, as well as the TENS and the orthotics) and said, I dont' think you need all that. He also said, the diagnosis is correct for the TMD but you dont need all that other stuff. He put me in for a bite plate at the Oral surgery clinic and it won't cost me a dime! So, it seems to me that the dentist just wanted my money after all!
