Hello everyone,
I'm curious, does any here know what exact Functional Jaw Orthopedics is all about? I personally know what it is, but i think a lot of you just don't have a clue. So i guess, my question is how many of you actually know what it is about? Not in great depth, but just the basics. I hope people will respond to this question.
wow, about 30 somewhat people view my post, and 1 actually posted.
To be frank, FJO is the path to recovery. This is why i asked how many of you know what FJO is.
Actually - Old Pal- many people on this board know what FJO is. Their TMJ Specialists may have had a different name for it, but if you took the time to read over the old posts you would have seen that many have had the 2-phase treatment with the removable splints or exanders followed by a second phase of permanent othodontics (either braces, equilibriation, crowns...).
The majority of these people are well-educated and well-informed patients.
Please don't asssume that a complex condition such as this can be categorically treated in one similar fashion. Offer support. Offer help. Stop with the condescending attitude.
These are people who require your help...not a self-serving lecture.
