Dr. Cohen in Arizona - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

Has anyone been to see Dr. Joseph Cohen in Phoenix? I have heard he is really good. Unfortunately, the first visit is $427. They don't really have any kind of payment plan, aside from you can pay half when you go and leave a post dated check for the other half. They also send you to Cave Creek to get x-rays, which really surprised me because I thought they would have an x-ray machine there. I just got x-rays today somewhere else. I doubt if that would make much difference in the price though. I've also heard "We like to have our own x-rays". Does anyone know of any other good TMJ specialists in AZ?

I don't know about Dr. Cohen, but if you are willing to travel to Tucson see Stephen Harkins, DDS. He has tried so hard to help me but my problems seem to be beyond his help.... he is knowledgable, experienced and has a good reputation in Tucson. He is also caring and seems to understand the pain TMJ can cause.

I am so glad I found this board. Otherwise I would have never found out that Dr. Cohen.... [Comments Removed]. I have called a lot of dentists and a few of them have referred me to him. He was also listed on the American Academy of Orofacial doctors (I can't remember the exact name of it), so I assumed he must be good. [Comments Removed] Thank you Condyle.
