Teeth Whitening - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

Has anyone found an over-the-counter teeth whitening that works and doesn't aggrivate TMJ? Most of the strips seem like they would affect jaw closing and the paint-on whiteners need to be on overnight and I'm not sure if you can use them with a splint. I feel so bad all the time and I look terrible so I thought whitening my teeth would make me feel a little better about my swollen face

i have tried many and ran into the same problem the only one i can tolerate is the Simply White Brush on stuff i had the same thought as you well maybe I'd feel better about myself if my teeth were bright LOL

Hope it works for you it's rather inexpensive doesn't work as fast but it does work

Rembrant extra whitening toothpaste works really well! After brushing only twice i saw a difference. Tt doesn't taste very good so i usually brush with the rembrant and then again with my regular toothpaste. Good Luck!
