| Re: What Step Should I Take Next?
Hello Andy,
You must remember that your rear molars are what's supporting your tm joints. Without the molars, your lower jaw will get pulled up. No headaches? That's a good sign.
All those medicine and drugs will not help you in the long run. I know only two types of dentists that can help "tmj" patients. FJO dentist and neuromuscular dentist. Before you go seeking treatment, it's critical that you know what exactly is causing "tmj," why do we have clicking, why limited opening in your case, etc. So when you do go seeking treatment, you're prepared and you know if the treatment is proper.
I have to say, there is not a standard when it comes to treating tmj patients. So the doc can prescript anything. And that is why you educate yourself about tmj. I read the third volume of this doctor's trilogy which i cannot name. This doctor practices FJO.
If you do go, u must have a tomogram taken. Without it, the doctor is working blind.
take care,
oldpal
