Hi Shirlett. I'm glad to hear it will be happening soon. At this point, just get it over with and move on, right?

I hope you have a great time in Alabama. Of course you will, right? I had some great news today. I went to see my doctor for my one month checkup, and he gave me a clean bill of health. All my restrictions are lifted, except of course, for the chewing. I had an opening of 36mm, which for me, is amazing. I still have the deviation to my bad side, but he's not worried about it. He said he wants to get me completely out of pain first, then get my opening better, and then we'll worry about the deviation. I have to go get another splint this week. It's ridiculous how many of these we go through. I got to wear my NTI for about a month, so that's $300 thrown away! Anyway, I'm in a great mood. We went to Red Lobster to celebrate. Yes, I know, those of you who get to live in Fl. cringe at this, but in Kansas, what else do you have? I sucked up lobster bisque and it was wonderful! So, again, I'm really happy you are going to have the surgery soon. I really hope this is it for you. I've been reading some of your posts, and I can't believe you've gone under the knife that many times. And, to have implants break and malfunction is the worst! I just hope this takes care of it. Have a great time on your trip, and let me know how it was!
