"Therabite" Jaw rehabilitation

Hi

Has anyone had any success with the "Therabite". I used it extensively after my arthroscopy and it really helped with range of motion then but since I have got loads of problems back I am considering trying it again.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has used it and how they have found it

Many thanks.

Re: "Therabite" Jaw rehabilitation

I use mine every day. It helps stretch the joint out in a way that just opening can't. I've even added the extra pads on top of the others so that it stretches more. I am 3 months out of surgery, but am going to keep using it everyday if I can. Good luck.

I used it a lot after arthroplasty, and I had good success with it.

Re: "Therabite" Jaw rehabilitation

I used it after my last surgery, open joint with ear cartilage grafts, with tremendous success.

It was a whole lot easier and more portable then the huge CPM unit I had used, after another surgery....Plus it was more affordable. The CPM unit had cost $5,000. Ouch. It was heavy, it was awkward, it was a plain nuisance.

I am actually looking forward to using it following my next surgery, my total joint replacement...

It is so much better than using popsicle sticks or the CPM

Just keep up with it and the plan your doctor puts you on....
