What causes displacement of a joint
I was just wondering what can cause joint displacement beside an injury?

I assume you mean "disc displacement?" More often than not, it is due to the spasming and shortening of muscles.

Hi there - in my case, joint derangement was caused by improper bite alignment (never fixed), irregular growth/development of the jaws (one side being more developed than the other), and chronic bruxism/grinding.
