| If you've had arthroscopic surgery...
If you have had arthroscopic surgery, can you tell me exactly what the surgeon did during the procedure? It seems like different surgeons have different definitions of this type of surgery. If I decide to do it, it will be done in the hospital. He will go in with a scope and an instrument called a trocar to break up adhesions and scar tissue. Hopefully, this will allow the disc to move around better.
He will not suture the disc into place.
What exactly did your surgeon do and what was the outcome? Also, did you have any temporal (muscle) headaches before the surgery? Did the scope help your headaches?
I have already tried arthrocentisis and it did not work. It did not make me worse either. Thanks, Julie
