| similar symptoms for cancer/TMJ?
hello there,
i am concerned with recent developments in my jaw/ears. i am nearly 21. i do not smoke. i HAVE tried smokeless tobacco, however i am not a "user". its more or less a social thing (over a span of 1 year only).
for 5 straight days now i have had an odd sensation in my lower jaw, close to where the jaw and ear meet. the feeling is not painful, but just really annoying. the sensation is more or less on the left side only, but occassionally i will feel the same on the right side. it usually become more noticable at night when i go to sleep. sometimes my ears will feel tight, but with no loss of hearing. also occasionally i'll be aware of a slight discomfort under my jaw, in the area you might take someone's pulse on the upper neck.
i feel no pain when i chew food or drink. it also doenst hurt to flex my jaw muscles. my teeth dont hurt either.
any ideas? cancer, tmj, sinus, nodes? if problems persist through the end of the long weekend ill be meeting with a doctor. in the mean time, id appreciate any info.
